Junior & Senior High

Junior High Sunday School (6th, 7th and 8th Grade)
An exciting new adventure awaits our youngest teens as they begin to explore their faith more deeply. How does God’s Word become a part of every day living, studying, playing and growing? Scripture challenging lessons will bring the Bible to Life for teenagers seeking to discover who they will become during these middle years.
Teachers: John & Sandy Webster

Confirmation Class
Confirmation class is offered for all ninth graders who wish to explore their faith and possibly unite with our congregation. Please see Rev. Lees if you are interested.
Teachers: Mary Anne Coffman and Rev. Larry Lees

Senior High Sunday School (9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Grade)
Following Jesus is the focus for our Senior High Class this year. A brand new study will ask the questions, what’s the text, what’s the context and what’s next? Finding the answers will be the challenge. A new life in Christ is the reward.
Teachers: Kris & Ed Windhausen

Junior High & Senior High Youth Groups
The excitement and enthusiasm abound in both the Jr High and Sr High (aka Fusion) Youth Groups. Katie Townsley and Wes & Kristen Gass will be guiding Fusion to explore new levels of faith and Christian leadership. Eryn Rhoades and Merissa Larson will be leading the Jr High Youth Group, made up of 6th through and 8th graders, to explore and expand their walk with Christ. Fusion will continue to meet at 2 pm on Sunday; Jr High will meet at 2:30 pm on alternating Sundays. Watch the Lamplighter for upcoming dates.
Jr. High Leaders: Eryn Rhoades and Merissa Larson
Sr. High Leaders: Wes & Kristen Gass, and Katie Townsley

Teen Bells
Our teen bell choir is organized for our young people in 7th-12th grade (younger musicians considered on an individual basis). The group performs several times during the year for our Sunday worship services. The group practices on Sundays from 4:00-5:00 pm.
Director: Joyce Ghen

Youth Offering Project
The Christian Education Committee has chosen the Heifer Project as the mission to support using the offering collected from the youth during Sunday School. The Heifer Project is an international program that uses funds to provide animals to families for use as food and to produce income. The Heifer Project combines training and support so that “passing on the gift” of livestock and learning benefits more families in need. Each class will select an animal as its goal for the coming year.
