Welcome to the 2009-2010
season of Concerts from Kirkwood!
Our series offers professional free concerts to the public
and is made possible through support from our contributors.
Since
the beginning of our series in 2003, Concerts from Kirkwood has
presented such well-known artists as the Shanghai Quartet, the Beau
Soir Ensemble, Pianist Thomas Pandolfi, and the Marcolivia Duo.
We are excited to announce our 2009-2010 concerts which will include
performances by National Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet, the Kobayashi
Duo, the Unlikely Trio, and the 2009 Vocal Arts Society Competition
Winners. We are also proud to announce our second annual Young Artist
Competition! Last season’s high school and middle school winners
from our area dazzled us with their talent on the winners’
recital and we are thrilled to be able to present this concert again
with new winners in March.
Come
join us starting September 19, 2009!
Dr. Kelly Ker Hackleman, Artistic and Managing
Director
