Mission

 

Mission and Outreach

 

To all who are weary and seek rest;
To all who mourn and long for comfort;
To all who struggle and desire victory;
To all who sin and need a Savior;
To all who are idle and seek service;
To all who are strangers and want fellowship;
To all who hunger and thirst after righteousness;
And to whosoever will come –
This church opens wide her doors and offers welcome
In the name of Jesus Christ; her Lord.


It is recorded (Mark 16:15) that Jesus commanded his eleven remaining disciples (and thereby us who believe) to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.” John records (John 21:15-19) that Jesus commanded Peter three times to care for His sheep, and to follow Him.

The task of the Mission and Outreach committee is to take the word of God to other people; to conduct His work in the community (mission) and to reach out to those who do not know Him (outreach).

  • Vellore Christian Medical Hospital in India
