Women
of Kirkwood
Our Mission
The
organization and programs of the Women of Kirkwood (WOK) provide opportunities
for women, as individuals and in groups, to grow in the knowledge of
Christ and be strengthened as members of His Body in our contemporary
world.
WOK
Circles
The purpose of Circles
is:
- To nurture love
and peace in Christ Jesus;
- To offer group
Bible study, prayer, worship, service and fellowship for the individual
woman in a community of women.
- To provide opportunities
to form personal friendships through which care and close support
can be extended and received.
All interested women
are encouraged to join us.
MONDAY EVENING CIRCLE
The Monday Evening Circle welcomes all women, even if they can only
drop in once in a while. We meet on the third Monday of each month at
7:30 p.m. in the parlor. We have no specific circle leader and rotate
responsibility for teaching the lesson among members.
WOK BOOK
CLUB
The Kirkwood Book Club is enjoying many good books and we invite anyone
to join us in this fun adventure. We read a variety of books and you
can come to all of our meetings or whenever it fits your schedule. We
meet the last Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm in our
homes.
