Advent Previews from the Pulpit

The Advent alert is being sounded. Our lessons from Isaiah and Matthew call out—seeking our notice. Words like Watch! Awaken! Behold! Prepare! Come! clamor for our attention among the many dissonant sounds and sights of “getting ready for Christmas.”

Our Christmas Eve worship begins at 7:30 pm. with a Candlelight Service adapted from the ‘Festival of Nine Carols and Lessons’, the annual Christmas Eve service at King’s College, Cambridge, first held in 1918.

On this First Sunday after Christmas, Rev. Lees will be on vacation and Christopher Smith will lead the congregation in worship.
