Outreach

The Outreach Committee is responsible for: 1) helping people in the Kirkwood community know who we are, what we are and where we are, 2) welcoming visitors to our church and helping to integrate them into Kirkwood’s community of faith and 3) serving the local, national, and global community by supporting worthwhile activities and offering programs to meet community needs.

Ongoing and upcoming activities offering member involvement opportunities include:

• Providing greeters to welcome visitors to our church.
• Providing a Welcome Table with refreshments for members and visitors attending worship services.
• Sponsoring community events to inform, involve, entertain and serve those in Kirkwood's neighborhood and beyond. 
• Publicizing church activities in local news media.
• Improving Kirkwood’s website to better communicate our activities and mission to the community.
• Sponsoring joint activities with other Kirkwood committees to extend our Christian fellowship to members of the community through picnics, movie nights and other activities.
