Kirkwood has proudly sponsored Scout Troop 1140 for many years.

The troop:

  • Is part of the Old Dominion District in the National Capital Area Council
  • Has produced over 100 Eagle Scouts to date
  • Is a boy-led troop specializing in backpacking
  • Meets weekly, on Wednesday nights, at Kirkwood and participates in an outing at least once a month
  • Offers a Venture program for older scouts

Regular office hours are 9 am - 3 pm

Next S.O.M.E. sandwich making day is Sunday, Feb. 19th immedately following the 11 am service.

There will be an Ash Wednesday service on Feb. 22nd at 7:30 pm, with a Labyrinth walk proceeding the event starting at 6:00 pm in Fellowship Hall.
