Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

MOPS is about ...

  • Celebrating motherhood
  • Meeting needs
  • Making connections
  • Experiencing God’s love
    ... through relationships and resources.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.

MOPS helps moms through relationships established in the context of local groups like this one that provide a caring atmosphere for today’s mother of young children. MOPS also encourages and supports mom through resources such as the website. Learn more about MOPS International.

Meeting Dates and Times

We are currently on a wait list until the Winter semester.

Our MOPS group meets 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 9:45 - 11:45 am during the school year.
Each of our meetings feature a speaker or craft (and sometimes both!) and plenty of time to talk to other moms like you. mops1

What is MOPPETS?

Our MOPPETS program provides care for children ages birth through kindergarten. While mothers attend the MOPS meeting, the children enjoy a program designed to meet their needs. The children are divided into age groups and are involved in planned activities that provide social growth and spiritual enrichment. Games, stories, crafts, and play enhance their physical and creative development.

Bring a change of clothes for your children (including socks) and at least three diapers if your child is not potty trained.

Label all items (including bottles and cups) with child's name.

 FAQs

This sounds great! But how much does all this cost?

The registration fee for the group costs $50 per semester and includes childcare.

I have a 10 year old that I home school - can I bring him too?

Unfortunately, we do not have staffing for children over the age of 6 (or old enough to be in 1st grade)

My Daughter threw up this morning, but I could really use a break. Can I still come?

Yes, as long as you find alternative childcare.  We request all moms do not bring children to the MOPS meeting who are sick, have a fever, rash or diarrhea.  Infections and germs spread quickly in small areas.  Thanks in advance for being considerate.
