Children’s Worship

Bridges to Worship

This class for children ages three through first grade meets after the children’s sermon, during the 11:00 Worship Service. It is. They attend a special worship service for children, taught by volunteers on a rotating schedule. Bridges includes singing, Bible lessons, prayer and a related activity or craft. A light snack is provided.

Junior Church

During the fall quarter, children in grades two to four are invited to leave the 11:00 worship service after the Children’s Sermon to go to Junior Church, a time of learning and fellowship specially designed for them, including discussion of parts of our worship service, including the sacraments, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Gloria Patria, so that the participants will develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the service.

Nursery

Kirkwood provides loving nurseries for infants & toddlers during the Sunday School hour, as well as during the 11:00 Worship Service.  Nurersy is also available during the 9:00am Morning Praise Service for children under the age of two years.
