Music

Kirkwood’s music program is considered one of our greatest strengths with opportunities for members of all ages to actively participate or simply enjoy and be inspired by the Word of God interpreted through great music.

Adult Choir

Open to adults of all musical abilities. Choir sings regularly during Sunday worship from September to June (rehearsals Thurs. 7:30 pm). No special musical training required. Director: Christopher Smith

Choraleer Choir

All elementary-age children are welcome to join Choraleers. There are no try-outs or auditions; we welcome any child who wants to make music with us. Our director chooses lots of kinds of music that the group performs throughout the year. Choraleers sing many songs, and even get to learn how to sing harmony parts. We use tone-chimes and Orff instruments - you don't even have to know how to play any other instrument or how to read music. It's fun! Bring a friend as well - we're always happy to have visitors. Director: Christopher Smith.
