Sunday Worship
Jesus Christ’s gospel of Good News draws professional, military, and blue-collar Christians from the Springfield area with their families to worship with Kirkwood as they search to find a life-fulfilling way through the pressures of the 21st century. In services from solemn to joyous, enriched by a broad spectrum of music and enlivened by occasional drama, our Pastor and Elders, youths and laypersons, men and women join together to present thought provoking services of worship and praise to God. We welcome you to join us each Sunday to worship with us either at our 9:00 am Morning Praise contemporary service, or our 11:00 am traditional service. Holy Communion is celebrated during our traditional service at 11:00 am on the first Sunday of each month. At our 9:00 am Sunday contemporary Morning Praise service, communion is served more frequently.
Before and after worship, join us in the Commons Area and in the Fellowship Hall for coffee, juice, snacks and conversation—and often for potlucks, picnics, and more. Sermons Every worship service is recorded and copies on a CD are available for anyone to borrow from the church office.
